Extra long necklace design inspired by Victorian Mourning Jewelry

While some may not see this design as properly Victorian, if you study photos of Victorian Aesthetic fashion there are a few examples of incredibly long necklaces worn at the time. 1. Victorian jewelry is as complex in its', sentiment and design as the fashion, architecture and decor of the time. This one's really long and I doubt if it can be worn really good. Though the design is something I can commend, I'll still love to have a sapphire engagement ring

  2. It is interesting to know why women during the Victorian era are still conscious of their fashion style even when in mourning. That very long necklace can be worn comfortably by Victorian women because they move very daintily.

    1. Yes the Victorian Lady was a bit OCD about fashion I'd say. Very endearing in a sense. The exact opposite of today, where jersey t-shirt material is now considered fashionable.:)

  4. This one's pretty dull for me. I do love the variance in the bead sizes but I think it needs more colour.

    1. Mourning jewelry is monochromatic, black, ergo lack of color. LOL But thanks for your two cents anywhoooo. "n_n"
